Hungarian WHB Group CEO and Delegation Visit SEMCORP

On October 22nd, Mr. Attila Paar, CEO of the Hungarian WHB Group, along with his delegation visited SEMCORP. Li Xiaoming, Chairman of SEMCORP, Li Xiaohua, Vice Chairman, and others in Shanghai met with the visitors. Both parties engaged in detailed discussions on the construction of SEMCORP Hungary’s factory and further cooperation, among other topics.


SEMCORP attaches great importance on its overseas market layout, continuously enhancing its support capabilities in foreign markets, expanding production capacity, and increasing competitiveness in the global market. The Hungarian WHB Group is one of the general contractors for the construction of SEMCORP's first overseas separator factory - the Hungarian factory.

During the meeting, Mr. Li Xiaoming, Chairman of SEMCORP, appreciated the efforts and contributions made by the Hungarian WHB Group in the collaboration between the two sides. He expressed the hope that both parties would further strengthen communication and close coordination to jointly promote the high-quality construction of the overseas project in Hungary.

Mr. Attila Paar, CEO of the Hungarian WHB Group, expressed his gratitude to SEMCORP, emphasizing that the WHB Group treasures the opportunity to collaborate with SEMCORP and will actively carry out the related project construction work. He looks forward to an even deeper cooperation with SEMCORP in the future.


Both sides also had in-depth discussions on the construction progress of SEMCORP's Hungarian factory and matters of concern. They had frank communications about subsequent cooperation needs and issues of interest.

SEMCORP Hungary plant has topped out the first phase of construction in October 2022. In July 2023, its first coating production line started trial production. As a key step in SEMCORP's commitment to building its Project 1139 over the next 3-5 years and its global strategic layout, the company is giving high priority to the construction of the SEMCORP Hungary factory, making thorough preparations to serve overseas clients and actively expanding into the international blue ocean market.
